Ken Kendrick brings more than 49 years of trial and transactional law experience and over a decade of independent board service to his work as a full-time mediator and arbitrator. For the past 15 years, he has mediated full time, with more than 1,500 mediations conducted across 12 states and over $700,000,000 in settlements funded.
A trusted neutral in some of the most complex disputes in the country, Ken has mediated high-stakes matters involving dozens of parties and law firms, including two national class action cases and major commercial disputes spanning the technology, manufacturing, financial, and aviation sectors. After the 2008 financial crisis, Ken mediated more disputes involving directors and officers of failed financial institutions than any other U.S. mediator, handling more than 50 FDIC/D&O fiduciary claims.
Ken’s deep litigation background includes leading the Atlanta Business Litigation Group at Womble Carlyle and representing clients in courts across the country, including arguments before the Second, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal. He also helped organize the first ADR Section of the Georgia Bar and was included on the first published list of registered neutrals by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. He remains a charter member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and continues to serve as a registered neutral in general civil and domestic relations matters.
Ken has been appointed as Special Master in both State and Federal Courts and has arbitrated business disputes under the rules of Henning, AAA, and the International Chamber of Commerce.
Ken joined Henning Mediation's Panel of Neutrals in 2004 and is available for mediation and arbitration. Sessions may be conducted in-person at Henning's Atlanta office, via secure video conferencing. Ken is also part of our Savannah panel and travels to coastal Georgia for in-person sessions.
